DMCA & Copyright Policy

    Last Updated: January 01, 2026

Song Refiners respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, we may disable or terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the copyrights or other intellectual property rights of others.

In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (DMCA), the text of which can be found at the U.S. Copyright Office website, Song Refiners will respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement committed through the Song Refiners platform or website (the "Site") if such claims are reported to our Designated Copyright Agent as outlined below.

    Notification of Copyright Infringement

If you are a copyright owner, authorized representative, or license holder and believe that your copyrighted work has been infringed on or through the Song Refiners Site, please submit a DMCA Notice of Alleged Infringement to our Designated Agent. Upon receipt of a valid notice, Song Refiners will take whatever action it deems appropriate — including removal of the infringing material.

    Your DMCA Notice must include:

    • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed (or a representative list of such works, if applicable).
    • Identification of the material claimed to be infringing (or to be the subject of infringing activity), including information reasonably sufficient to enable us to locate it (such as the specific URL where it appears).
    • Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and, if available, email address.
    • The following two statements:
      • "I hereby state that I have a good faith belief that the disputed use of the copyrighted material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law (e.g., as a fair use)."
      • "I hereby state that the information in this Notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that I am the owner, or authorized to act on behalf of the owner, of the copyright or of an exclusive right under the copyright that is allegedly infringed."
    • Your physical or electronic signature.

Deliver this Notice, with all items completed, to:

    Counter-Notification Procedures

If you believe that material you posted on the Site was removed or access to it was disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a Counter-Notice with us. The Counter-Notice must include:

    • Your physical or electronic signature.
    • Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before removal.
    • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled due to mistake or misidentification.
    • Your name, address, telephone number, and, if available, email address, along with a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for your area (or any jurisdiction where Song Refiners may be found if you are outside the U.S.), and that you'll accept service of process from the person who provided the original infringement notice.
